Welcome! 

This is the event registration page for artists, professionals and BNCN members for New Horizons Summit in Lund 1-3rd of December. 

How does circus respond to contemporary urgencies, the shifting nature of work, new technologies and renewed questions about the responsibilities and capabilities of art in society? What strategies do some people already implement in their work that offer a glimpse into what the future might hold, and how we can navigate these big questions?

The core of the programme is the talks programmes 1-4 and around them there are performances, workshops, networking and meetings where we have invited an array of inspiring artists and professionals. The creation of the summit was originally inspired by the alumni from BNCN's Leadership Programme, a project Cirkus Syd produced for BNCN in 2020-2021. We wanted to produce a gathering for the bright young minds of tomorrow and hear radical and visionary ideas. From there the programme has grown to become a statement of what is now. 

The programme is also part of the Swedish Arts Grants Committees Circus Programme and as such showcases work by Swedish based and Region Skåne based artists. 

We hope to see you in Lund in December! 

As there are many events and we have created categories to help you register for things relevant to you. You may find that you feel you belong to more than one "label" - this is of course fine, as people are rarely one thing. 

Several events are priced "Pay what you want" - here you need to enter a price and there is a low suggested minimum dontation/registration fee. This is to avoid people booking up free tickets for their friends and not attending, but also to give the opprotunity to give a donation for those who wish.
